ManpowerGroup Romania is recruiting on behalf of an important client in the insurance industry for a Senior Underwriter (RCA & CASCO) position.

Location: Bucharest

We are looking for an experienced Senior Underwriter with solid expertise in underwriting and portfolio management for MTPL (Motor Third Party Liability) and CASCO insurance lines. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving the company's technical and commercial performance through sound underwriting decisions, portfolio analysis, and sustainable solutions for clients and business partners.

Requirements:
University degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering, or a related field;
Minimum 5 years of experience in motor insurance, with solid exposure to RCA and Casco underwriting and/or portfolio management;
Good knowledge of insurance legislation, ASF regulations, and requirements applicable to motor insurance;
Advanced risk assessment and technical-economic analysis skills;
Strong negotiation and decision-making abilities;
Strategic mindset, results-oriented approach, initiative, and a strong sense of ownership;
Excellent communication and collaboration skills;
Advanced Excel skills (mandatory);
Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office applications;
Intermediate level of English, both written and spoken;
Integrity, professionalism, and reliability.

Responsibilities:
Monitor the performance of the RCA and Casco portfolio (sales and technical indicators) and propose optimization measures.
Manage insurance requests received through Sales channels and provide appropriate and sustainable solutions.
Review and approve complex quotations, premium adjustments, and discounts within delegated authority limits and in accordance with internal policies.
Manage RCA and Casco-specific underwriting processes, including cases involving exceptions to standard terms and conditions.
Contribute to product development initiatives and the update of underwriting procedures for motor insurance lines.
Collaborate with Sales, Claims, Actuarial, and IT teams to improve processes and reporting.
