EHS Engineer

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Relevant HSE experience, ideally in an operational or project-based environment; international exposure is a plus.
• HSE-related certifications (Safety, Emergency Management, Environmental) are an advantage.
• Advanced English proficiency; German language skills are a plus.
• Valid Category B driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%, domestically and/or internationally.

HSE Policy & Compliance

• Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of HSE policies, procedures, and systems in line with Romanian legislation, client requirements, and internal standards.
• Prepare and contribute to monthly and annual HSE reports, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with legal and internal requirements.

Risk Assessment & Incident Management

• Conduct occupational health and safety risk assessments and hazard analyses for job roles, activities, and processes.
• Review and support approval of personal protective equipment (PPE) proposals in line with Construction Department input and HSE requirements.
• Participate in HSE incident investigations, supporting root cause analysis and the timely implementation of corrective and preventive actions.

Training & Awareness

• Identify operational HSE training needs and support the development and delivery of internal HSE training programs.
• Deliver HSE induction training and ongoing safety awareness sessions for employees.

Emergency Preparedness

• Support the planning, organization, and execution of emergency response drills.
• Maintain and update emergency response documentation, including the emergency response plan, annual training plan, thematic plans, and evacuation plan.

Auditing & Continuous Improvement

• Participate in internal HSE audits and inspections to verify compliance with procedures and regulations.
• Track corrective and preventive actions and follow up on their timely closure

We are seeking a motivated and hands-on HSE Engineer to support and actively contribute to
health, safety, and environmental initiatives. The role focuses on operational execution,
compliance, and continuous improvement, ensuring a safe, compliant, and sustainable working
environment. You will work closely with local teams and the Global HSE function to align
operations with Romanian legislation, customer requirements, and company standards.
