Sustaining and Engineering Systems Team Leader at Gilau

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

* Provide strong leadership for an engineering team of 6-7 people, inspiring a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and knowledge sharing.
* Perform design reviews and approve technical drawings.
* Offer technical guidance and expertise to team members, assisting in problem-solving and decision-making.
* Facilitate effective communication within the team, with other local departments and with remote teams in India, France, and USA.
* Efficiently allocate resources within the team, balance workloads, and prioritize tasks/projects to meet company and department objectives.

You maintain a positive attitude and forward-thinking approach despite troubling circumstances or setbacks. You have a clear understanding of other groups’ business priorities. You observe situational and group dynamics and select best-fit approaches.

For This Role, You Will Need:

* University degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or mechanics related field.
* Minimum 4 years proven experience in engineering coordination roles, approx. 10 years overall engineering experience, CAD experience is a must.
* Strong technical background with expertise in injection molding, die-cast, and machining technologies.
* Advanced in English language (spoken and written).

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
* Experience with ATEX products is a plus.
* Productive and open minded; problem solving skills;
* Good communication and teamwork skills;
* Knowledge and experience with Creo software is an advantage.
