Senior Freight Forwarder

Requirements:

EDUCATION: Secondary education;
EXPERIENCE: 3-5 years in a similar role;
LANGUAGES: Good command in English
COMPUTER SKILLS: Intermediate MS Office (Word/Excel/Outlook).
KNOWLEDGE OF:
-Logistics and transport processes and Forwarding’s business specifics;
-Freight exchanges and forwarding programs;
-Forwarding documents and relevant laws;
-Excellent communication & interpersonal skills, skilled in maintaining a commercially relevant network;
-Strong negotiating skills – Able to negotiate assertively when required;
-Insight into commercial opportunities.

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Freight Forwarder to join our team. In this role, you will ensure a smooth and efficient transport flow by coordinating transport orders, optimizing processes, maintaining customer relationships and aligning profitable margins.

Key Responsibilities:

-Coordinate the efficient execution of transport orders in collaboration with relevant stakeholders;
-Ensure timely and accurate preparation of transport documents and dispatch of transport orders to Freight Forwarders;
-Optimize loading and unloading routes to improve efficiency and reduce costs;
-Maintain, strengthen, and expand relationships , ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction;
-Negotiate rates and prepare competitive quotations to offer suitable transport proposals to both existing and new customers;
-Initiate and implement process improvements based on evaluations and performance results;
-Identify operational bottlenecks in transport and forwarding activities and develop appropriate solutions.
