Descrierea jobului
For our client, a leading global mobility and technology platform, we are looking for a hands-on, commercially minded Senior Operations Specialist to join the Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) team.
This is a high-impact, high-ownership role designed for a numbers-comfortable problem solver who can analyze data to diagnose operational challenges, define practical solutions, and personally drive execution to measurable business outcomes. Candidates in this role must demonstrate the capability and ambition to step up into an Operations Manager position within 2 years.
Candidate Profile & Key RequirementsMandatory Background & Experience:
International Experience: Minimum of 6 months spent studying or working outside your country of origin (mandatory).
Track Record & Tenure: Roughly 2–3 years of post-university experience for Senior Operations Specialist (or 4–5 years for Operations Manager), showing a rapid trajectory of growing scope, problem ownership, and execution under ambiguity.
Target Source Backgrounds (one or a combination of):
Strategic Consulting / Big 4: Background in Tier 1–3 consulting or Big 4 (with strong preference for Transactions / M&A) who transitioned to a hands-on business/startup role.
Entrepreneurs & Startup Builders: Experience co-founding a business, scaling a venture, or leading product/operations/process automation initiatives.
FP&A / Revenue Operations: Business finance background focused on top-line growth, unit economics, P&L, and commercial strategy (pure accounting or shared service backgrounds are not suitable).
Marketplace & Service Operations: Experience in e-commerce, mobility, on-demand delivery, or adjacent platform operations.
Core Competencies:
First-Principles Reasoning: Ability to break down unfamiliar operational problems, perform necessary math without losing sight of the commercial objective, and adjust assumptions calmly when presented with new data.
Entrepreneurial Ownership: A "get-it-done" mindset that treats the final business outcome—not just task execution—as your personal responsibility.
Problem Framing & Communication: Ability to clearly explain starting problems, personal contributions, and quantified outcomes in a structured manner.
Stakeholder Influence: Strong capability to collaborate cross-functionally and align diverse teams without direct hierarchical authority.
Technical Skills & Tools:
Required Day One: Strong numeracy, deep comfort with business metrics, and advanced fluency in Excel / Google Sheets to build models and verify results independently.
Secondary / Plus: Exposure to AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT for workflow automation), SQL, BI platforms (Looker, Tableau), or Python is a plus, but reasoning depth and business application matter above all.
Domain & Marketplace Ownership: Own and optimize business performance across key metrics (supply/demand balance, unit economics, P&L margins, and revenue growth).
First-Principles Problem Solving: Diagnose operational bottlenecks, build quantitative models, test hypotheses, and implement corrective actions.
End-to-End Execution: Lead complex cross-functional projects across Marketing, Legal, Public Policy, and Product from initial strategy through to launch and tracking.
Planning & Forecasting: Lead target-setting, build scenario models, and drive initiatives required to hit regional OKRs.
Process Automation: Leverage modern tools and AI workflows to automate manual processes and optimize team efficiency.
Only eligible candidates will be contacted within 3 weeks. All information will be treated as strictly confidential.
