Manual Test Engineer (German - Intermediate)

Mandatory Skills Description:
- Experience (also practical) in requirements engineering for large-scale IT solutions.
- Experience and expert knowledge (also practical) in detailing and creation of User Stories as well as test cases in agile delivery teams.
- Advanced knowledge of test case definition and documentation, and usage of Test Mgmt. software like HP ALM.
- Strong hands-on experience in Web Application testing using Selenium with Java (Serenity is nice to have).
- Advanced analytical and communication skills, independence and initiative, ability to work in agile delivery teams.
- Ability to continuously coach junior Requirements Engineers and QA-Specialists.
- Knowledge of Retail Banking IT, mainly the core domain Frontends & Channels.
- Willingness to continuously learn and familiarize with topics and technologies previously unknown.
- Independent way of work to gather the required information from the stakeholders.
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
- German language level: B1 or above.

As a QA & Testing Engineer you will be responsible to develop testing strategies and devise test plans in order to ensure that applications meet business requirements and maintain high quality standards. The QA & Testing Engineer identifies the tasks and resources needed to ensure that their specialized portion of the testing process meets software quality requirements prior to release into a live environment.

Responsibilities:
-Work within software development projects to analyze, detail and document the requirements and test cases for Online & Mobile banking use cases and other applications.
-Align with the Product Owner of the team on the product vision as well as dedicated requirements – with a strong focus to enable an efficient and mostly complete testing of the product.
-Define test sets for User Acceptance and End-2-End tests (manual and automated) and monitor the creation and execution/ re-test of the test cases within.
-Be responsible to align with the requirements engineers as well as the developers and engineers, to transfer specific knowledge of the IT solution build required for the test management, test case creation and testing activities.
-Ensure that your specifications and concepts fit for high scalable solutions and work for very high load scenarios (more than 50,000-100,000 parallel customer accesses).
-Work on a web application that is highly visible to customers, and keep the necessary calmness and a consistently high level of quality even in critical project phases; make a significant contribution to finding solutions through methodical and technical knowledge.
-Process test cases, assess the user flow, note whether a use case is complete and understandable for employees (including occasional users), and assess the texts in the AdminFE.
-Work together with all team members: Devs, Business Analysts, testers for automated tests, ITAO, SOS and help shape the product.
