Purpose:

Prepare technical and commercial offers for Transmission & Distribution projects, focusing on medium- and high-voltage electrical substations, overhead and underground power lines, and transformer substations. Analyze client requirements, identify optimal technical solutions, coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors, and provide technical support throughout the offer preparation and negotiation process.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze Requests for Quotation (RFQs), tender documentation, and client specifications for Transmission & Distribution projects;

• Propose technical solutions tailored to project requirements, including electrical substations, medium- and high-voltage power lines, transformer substations, and related electrical equipment;

• Collaborate with engineering and design teams to develop detailed technical and commercial offers;

• Request and consolidate supplier quotations for electrical equipment, including transformers, switchgear, protection and control systems, cables, conductors, structures, and other equipment required for T&D projects;

• Request quotations from subcontractors for project-related works and services;

• Consolidate supplier and subcontractor offers and estimate internal costs to calculate the total project cost;

• Prepare tender documentation, including technical specifications, commercial proposals, execution schedules, bills of quantities, and eligibility forms;

• Review technical documentation, drawings, and project requirements to ensure compliance with client specifications and applicable standards;

• Support the preparation of technical solutions, cost estimates, and project execution methodologies;

• Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, engineering teams, and other internal departments throughout the offer preparation process;

• Review previous offers and completed projects to identify opportunities for cost optimization and improve future bidding strategies;

• Provide technical support during the clarification, negotiation, and finalization stages of the tender process.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related technical field;

• Experience in offer preparation, estimation, engineering, or project design within the Transmission & Distribution sector;

• Experience with medium- and high-voltage electrical substations, power lines, transformer substations, or related electrical infrastructure;

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint);

• Practical experience with AutoCAD and/or other electrical design or engineering software;

• Good understanding of electrical power systems, medium- and high-voltage equipment, electrical protection and control systems, grid infrastructure, and applicable technical standards;

• Ability to interpret technical specifications, electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, and tender documentation;

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess technical requirements and propose cost-effective solutions;

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and teamwork skills;

• Ability to work effectively with suppliers, subcontractors, engineering teams, and clients.
