Candidatul Ideal

Skillab Romania is growing fast, and we’re looking for a strategic HR leader who can shape the people function from the ground up. This is not a classic HR role. You will operate close to the leadership team, influence company-wide decisions, and design the culture, processes, and engagement mechanisms that differentiate a high-performing organisation from an average one.

As the HR Business Partner, you will own the full people agenda for Skillab Romania. You’ll work directly with the CEO and leadership team to build a strong, modern, people-first organisation. Your role combines strategy with hands-on execution across culture building, organisational development, performance management, engagement, and scalable HR processes that support our growth.

What We’re Looking For
  • Solid experience in HR/People Ops within fast-growing or high-intensity organisations.
  • Strong business acumen and the confidence to work closely with executive leadership.
  • A proactive mindset with the courage to challenge, propose, and implement.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Curiosity, maturity, and genuine passion for building thriving teams.

Key Responsibilities

Culture & Organisation
  • Co-create and drive the Skillab culture together with the CEO and leadership team.
  • Build programs that strengthen values, collaboration, and high performance.
  • Lead change management initiatives during periods of growth or transformation.

People Operations
  • Design and implement People Ops processes end-to-end (onboarding, performance, feedback cycles, career paths, L&D) with zero bureaucracy.
  • Ensure a seamless employee experience from entry to exit.
  • Maintain compliance with labour legislation while keeping processes lean and simple.

Business Partnering
  • Act as a trusted advisor to leadership, challenging and influencing decisions when needed.
  • Provide guidance on organisational design, workforce planning, capability building, and leadership development.
  • Support managers in managing their teams effectively and consistently.

Employee Engagement
  • Build meaningful, measurable engagement initiatives—not HR tick-box activities.
  • Analyse engagement feedback and convert data into concrete actions.
  • Drive retention through wellbeing, recognition, and development programs.
