Data Privacy Operations Specialist - 2 years

Based in Cluj Napoca, as a Data Privacy Operations Specialist, your focus will be supporting the implementation and maturing of the Global Data Privacy compliance program. This position will also plan, design and manage the global and cross-platform deployment of various mission critical programs relating to deployment of policies & standards, facilitation of the Data Privacy Coordinator network, privacy self-audit and various training initiatives relating to existing and future compliance programs and initiatives.

In this role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
* Contribute to the building and developing of the Global Data Privacy compliance systems.
* Connect short- and mid-term actions to long-term priorities that are aligned to the department’s and company’s strategic direction.
* Engage and communicate with stakeholders across platforms and world areas within the entire company.
* Design, develop, implement, and deliver suitable training and communications that support the Global Data Privacy program.
* Assistance with the deployment and support of relevant tools (OneTrust, SharePoint pages and other).
* Act as a primary point of contact for the Emerson Corporate and platform IT-security teams.
* Provide advice and perform risk assessment analysis on data protection compliance for existing and new systems for regulatory implementation purposes.
* Support the drafting and maintenance of intra group data transfer agreements (IGDTA) and annexes, as well as the administration and filing related to IGDTA power of attorney(s).
* Assist as required and support the Data Protection Coordinators with advice and guidance for purposes of ensuring a consistent approach in respect of Data Compliance.
* Analytically identify and advance strategic improvement opportunities.

For This Role, You Will Need:
* University degree in an appropriate field of study
* Knowledge in European legislation / data protection legislation is a strong plus
* Minimum of 1 year of progressive business experience in a global environment
* Ability to achieve results even in challenging conditions
* Project Management, Legal or Technology background
* Excellent spoken and written English language skills, excellent written and oral communication.
* Ability and desire to travel
