Oil&Gas Commissioning Document/Procedures Coordinator

We are seeking a Commissioning Document Coordinator to support a major oil & gas project. This role is focused primarily on procedure development, documentation control, and coordinating interfaces between project phases and locations. The position is ideal for a senior commissioning/process engineer with strong organizational skills, excellent IT capabilities, and proven experience in commissioning processes within the oil & gas sector.

Prepare, develop, and maintain commissioning procedures, ensuring alignment with project requirements and industry standards.

Manage and coordinate paperwork and documentation workflows for commissioning deliverables.

Work out interface definitions between onshore and offshore scopes, project slots, and discipline boundaries.

Coordinate and compile commissioning procedure packages across multiple work packages and contractors.

Support the commissioning team in document reviews, revisions, and approvals.

Ensure all procedures are traceable, version-controlled, and delivered within schedule.

Liaise with engineering, construction, operations, and vendor teams to ensure consistency of documentation.

Provide senior-level input on commissioning methodology and procedural requirements.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Senior engineer with strong familiarity with IT tools: MS Word, Excel, document management systems, and project platforms.

Demonstrated experience in oil & gas commissioning procedures, ideally across multiple project phases.

Ability to work independently, manage document flows, and maintain high organizational standards.

Strong communication and coordination skills across multi-discipline and multi-location teams.

Understanding of commissioning workflows, hierarchy of documents, and interface management.
