We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Transport Planner to join our team for a new project. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and optimizing transportation plans to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations.
The successful candidate will analyze transport data, plan and manage schedules and routes, ensure compliance with relevant transportation regulations, and collaborate closely with internal teams to drive continuous improvements in operational efficiency and service quality. You will play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of transport operations while maintaining high standards of performance and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement transportation plans and routing strategies.
Analyze transport demand, traffic patterns and operational data.
Optimize vehicle utilization, routes, and schedules to improve efficiency.
Coordinate with drivers, logistics teams, suppliers and customers.
Monitor transportation performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
Ensure compliance with transportation laws, safety regulations and company policies.
Prepare reports, forecasts, and performance metrics.
Manage transport-related issues and implement corrective actions when necessary.
Support budgeting and cost-control initiatives.
Collaborate with local authorities, contractors, and other stakeholders on transport projects where applicable

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Transport Planning, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
Previous experience in transport planning, logistics or fleet management is preferred.
Knowledge of transport regulations and industry best practices.
Experience with transport management systems or route optimization software is an advantage.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
