Supply Chain Manager - Snagov, Ilfov

• Supply Chain Manager plans and coordinates the activities of buyers, production planners and related workers involved in purchasing materials, products and services.
• He/She must have a hands-on approach to maintaining inventory levels and supervising supply deliveries. They are the main point of contact for vendors, making them responsible for negotiating the terms of supply contracts, researching new material sources and recording delivery schedules. Materials Managers explain the distribution process to their team and adjust business operations to improve reliability and quality. They can make cost adjustments to obtaining, storing and transporting materials.

• University –technical studies
• Experience: Proven track record in a similar position
• English – Advanced/Intermediate
• MS Office Package
• Good communication and organization skills
• Strong attitude for teamwork, interpersonal skills and problem-solving
• Project management experience
• SAP knowledge in this field of expertise
• Knowledge of inventory systems / programs

• Directs / supervises the control of materials / components, inventory, transport, reception and storage of materials
• Directs / coordinates planning based on sales forecasts
• Coordinates the delivery of materials / parts so that it fits into the delivery time set by the customer
• Supervises the reception of purchased goods and the dispatch of finished products
• Identifies opportunities to reduce transport costs and taxes
• Manage and monitor the storage of materials/components and finished products
• Establishes procedures for carrying out and evaluating year-end physical inventory
• Manages and trains subordinates
• Performs performance reviews
