YOUR MISSION
Q-Commerce is the second biggest category inside Glovo and we are currently building a strong team in order to re-invent how consumers buy their groceries and any other product in their city, making it more convenient and easy than ever before. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering a best-in-class user experience for our customers, leading the implementation of the right assortment, categorization, content, pricing and promotion strategies.
THE JOURNEY
Optimize conversion rate, average order value (AOV), and assortment breadth to ensure a seamless and engaging shopping experience for users.
Own the assortment onboarding process by providing partners with clear templates and detailed guidance on their usage.
Review and refine new partners' assortment files before bringing them live, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Create and maintain the category tree, ensuring proper classification and seamless functionality across all stores.
Conduct assortment gap analysis and competitor benchmarking, including tracking no-result searches and analyzing competitor offerings.
Ensure high-potential and top-selling products are easily discoverable through search, categories, and personalized recommendations.
Monitor product availability continuously, working with partners to reduce out-of-stock rates and improve replacement efficiency.
Use conversion funnel analysis to identify missing or underperforming products and recommend optimizations.
Collaborate with grocery partners to enhance product images, descriptions, and attributes, driving better engagement and conversion.
Align assortment, pricing, and promotions with seasonal trends, local market preferences, and demand fluctuations.
Regularly meet with partners’ category management teams (especially top partners) to review conversion rate and basket size trends.
Expand and improve product selection by working closely with retail partners and introducing exclusive products, bundles and promo-packs.
Ensure the availability of niche and specialty items to cater to diverse customer needs and enhance the platform’s appeal.
Conduct routine “Walk the Store” audits to identify errors or improvement opportunities.
Manage and optimize catalog tools, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in product listings.
Collaborate with the Brand Ads team to facilitate the execution of ad campaigns within the grocery marketplace.
Address and resolve partners’ ad-hoc requests, ensuring smooth operations and strong relationships.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE
Minimum of 3 years of experience in retail, e-commerce, or FMCG Category management
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with exposure to senior partners and cross-functional teams.
Experience in defining solutions to complex, strategic topics with a deeply analytical and data-driven approach to issues
Balance attention to detail with swift execution - we need to do things quickly, and we need to do them well
Full proficiency in English is required
Grittiness, never hesitate to roll up your sleeves and address something hands-on, you persevere when others fall away

Descrierea companiei
Glovo este o aplicatie ce ofera servicii de curierat la cerere si permite utilizatorilor sa comande, sa trimita si sa primeasca orice. Cel mai popular serviciu al aplicatiei este cel de livrare a alimentelor, serviciu ce permite utilizatorilor sa gaseasca si sa plaseze comenzi de la restaurantele favorite, mai apoi fiind preluate si livrate la usa de catre curierii Glovo.
Pe langa categoria de mancare, aplicatia cuprinde si alte categorii precum magazine, supermaerketuri, farmacie, bauturi, cu ajutorul carora utilizatorii pot alege in functie de dorintele si necesitatile lor. In plus, aplicatia ofera si butonul “orice” prin care utilizatorii pot comanda orice doresc, cu conditia sa nu depaseasca 9 kg si sa se incadreze in dimensiunile gentii livratorului, dar si categoria de “curierat rapid” ce permite livrarea de plicuri, pachete, documente, recuperarea obiectelor uitate acasa, la birou sau la prieteni (ochelari, chei, genti, etc.), in mai putin de o ora.
La origini, Glovo este un start-up spaniol ce a fost fondat de Oscar Pierre si Sacha Michaud in anul 2015 in Barcelona. La nivel global, aplicatia are peste 1 milion de utilizatori si 5600 de parteneri si activeaza in mai mult de 20 de tari din intreaga lume, urmarind noi orase in perioada urmatoare.
In Romania, Glovo s-a lansat in mai 2018 si a avut un mare succes, in primele 18 luni de activitate livrand peste 3,8 miloane de comenzi, cele mai multe fiind plasate pentru restaurant, supermarket si servicii de curierat. In prezent, aplicatia este activa in 14 orase din Romania, respectiv: Bucuresti, Cluj, Timisoara, Iasi, Brasov, Craiova, Constanta, Sibiu, Arad, Ploiesti, Baila, Galati, Oradea si Pitesti.
Ne extindem permanent, ne dezvoltam si ne dorim crearea unei infrastructuri de livrare on-demand pentru fiecare oras din lume, adaptata la cerintele specifice locale. Impreuna construim viitorul oraselor, permitand oricui sa primeasca orice produs din orice magazin livrat in cateva minute. Vino sa faci parte din echipa GLOVO!
