The Opportunity

As a Senior Payroll Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll and related HR administration activities for our employees. You will work closely with HR, Finance and other internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with payroll, tax and labor legislation requirements while contributing to continuous process improvements.

Your key responsibilities

Support the accurate and timely processing of monthly payroll for EY Romania employees.
Maintain and update employee payroll data in HR and payroll systems.
Process payroll-related changes, including salary updates, bonuses, benefits, new hires, transfers and terminations.
Prepare payroll reports, payslips and supporting documentation.
Ensure the preparation and timely submission of payroll and statutory declarations in compliance with Romanian legislation.
Maintain accurate REVISAL records and related documentation.
Prepare employment and salary certificates upon request.
Monitor legislative changes related to payroll and labor law and support their implementation.
Respond to employee queries related to payroll matters.
Ensure confidentiality, accuracy and compliance in all payroll activities.
