Senior Automation QA Engineer

Mandatory Skills:
Higher education completed with a bachelor's degree.
5+ years of general experience in software testing.
3+ years of hands on experience in test automation.
Strong Javascript knowledge (Cypress is our tool of choice).
Experience with industry standard test processes, tools, and frameworks.
Understanding of testing across the full Software Development lifecycle.
Solid experience in creating test documentation, including test plans, test strategy, test cases, etc.
Strong experience with defect tracking tools (preferably Azure DevOps).
Very good written and spoken English.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Some knowledge of software for dialysis equipment technology and processes is an advantage.
Experience in Agile/Safe.
System integration testing experience.
Load & Performance automation experience (such as HP LoadRunner, JMeter).

Responsibilities:
Defines the testing needs of the software products being developed, based on the interaction with the Test Manager, Development/QA team, Engineering Project Manager, Business Analyst, etc.
Creates and maintains test plans.
Creates, executes, and reviews test cases/test scripts.
Creates/updates verification plans, protocols, and reports.
Analyzes requirements and follows the appropriate verification process.
Acts as a subject matter expert for all product verification stages.
Participates in reviews for software verification plans, protocols and reports and other design meetings.
Works with product development teams to evaluate system interfaces, operational requirements, and performance requirements.
Creates, identifies, validates, and uses test tools that facilitate data collection and implementation of the chosen test methodology.
Participates in the design, construction, validation, and implementation of effective test automation solutions.
Understands defect management and works closely with software engineers to resolve them.
Maintains effective communication with the test manager, project manager and team members regarding project scope, timelines, and design changes.
Provides support to colleagues in the team and assistance in various projects.
