Requirements:
- University degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience, including strong hands-on payroll experience
- Good knowledge of payroll legislation, salary calculations, payroll taxes, and reporting requirements
- Good knowledge of Romanian fiscal legislation (Fiscal Code and Fiscal Procedure Code)
- CECCAR trainee or membership – considered an advantage
- IFRS knowledge – considered an advantage
- Strong computer skills, including very good knowledge of Microsoft Office and accounting/payroll software
- Excellent communication skills in both Romanian and English
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlinesTeam-oriented, responsible and proactive personality, motivated for continuous professional development

Main responsibilities include:
- Recording, verifying, and reconciling financial, accounting, and payroll transactions
- Ensuring compliance with Romanian accounting standards, tax legislation, and internal procedures
- Managing and supervising monthly payroll processing, including salary calculations, payroll taxes, and related reporting
- Preparing and reviewing payroll declarations and employment-related fiscal reporting
- Organizing and controlling the flow of accounting documents to ensure accurate and timely monthly recording
- Reviewing accounting records prepared by junior accountants (invoices, receipts, payments, trial balances)
- Preparing and maintaining mandatory accounting and fiscal registers
- Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual tax declarations
- Preparing VAT returns, corporate income tax calculations, and related documentation
- Managing relationships with tax authorities
- Preparing daily and periodic reconciliations
- Supporting the annual audit process and preparing required documentation
- Preparing management reports and ad hoc financial analyses
- Coaching and supporting junior team members
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure efficient financial operations
