ACCOUNTANT

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting roles, preferably within Real Estate companies.
• CECCAR certification (or ongoing membership) is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of Romanian accounting, tax, and reporting legislation.
• Proven ability to work independently, organize priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken (intermediate to advanced level).
• Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and familiarity with accounting ERP systems.
• Analytical, responsible, and detail-oriented, with a solution-driven approach.
• Very good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ensures the accounting records of the allocated companies covering the whole range of transactions (fixed assets, stocks, third party accounting, treasury, accounting of expenses and income, etc.). Responsible with closing the monthly trial balance for the allocated companies.
• Responsible of daily operation of invoices from suppliers and outgoing payments, checking bank balances, cash register and cash advances, issuing and booking accounts receivable invoices, and receipts allocation.
• Verifies the invoices received from the suppliers in accordance with the internal procedure (existence of the signed contract, guarantee and insurance, as well as the certificate of resident fiscal guarantee, as the case may be).
• Performs treasury activities and cash operations according to needs.
• Monthly the reconciliation of balances for 411,461 and 401,404 (in lei and in foreign currency),
• Monthly reports on budget vs. actual based on accounting entries.
• Check monthly or quarterly the sales and purchase journals and prepare the VAT statements.
• Administer the fixed assets module, calculate and verify the depreciation; annually performs physical inventory of fixed assets.
• Draws up monthly / quarterly tax declarations according to the legal provisions in force, using the correct version of the programs provided by ANAF; draws up the accounting and fiscal registers according to the law. Maintains the relationship with ANAF and DITL (checks the payer file, obtains fiscal certificates, etc).
• Responsible for the archiving, circulation, and storage of accounting documents in accordance with the internal policies of the department / company.
• Prepares quarterly or as needed the documentation and information requested by the statutory and group auditors under the guidance of the Chief Accountant.
• To ensure a good collaboration with colleagues in the financial-accounting department and with other departments.
