About the role

You will be the technical expert ensuring local compliance while acting as a vital link to our global finance team.
What you’ll need
Experience
- At least 5 years of minimum accounting experience, working within a fast-moving, changing environment;
- BA in finance / accounting;
- Experience working with multi-currency ledgers;
- Previous exposure to Oracle EBS is an advantage;
- Advanced Excel skills essential;
- Knowledge of RO VAT;
- Experience in working in an international environment;
- Advanced English.

What you’ll be doing

- Manage the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded in compliance with RAS.
- Manage relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers – Management accounting.
- Deal with all queries and liaise with all relevant internal departments to ensure queries are responded to promptly.
- Collaborate with the outsourcing accounting company to ensure reporting of VAT, P&L, BS as per Romanian accounting standards.
- Manage the general accounting under local and IFRS & GAAPS.
- Execute the month-end and year-end closing process according to Group deadlines and local legal requirements.
- Ensure the preparation of financial reporting for the Group in collaboration with the persons in charge of controlling.
- Ensure systems are accurately updated and correctly used and optimized for accounting purposes.
