HASHERA is looking for a Senior Accountant for its client, an international multidisciplinary advisory firm in Bucharest. Our client is a lead player in tax, legal, accounting and payroll services assisting a diverse international portfolio of clients, has a high reputation upon high-quality work, a positive outlook and high standards of service and ethics.

Our client is an advisory firm engaged by its clients for both accounting compliance and statutory work as well as on reporting, IFRS, advisory and transactional work, due diligence mandates and expert opinions.

Our client is also looking to candidates who want to relocate and offer support if you choose to have a job in Bucharest.

Required qualifications

1. Bachelor’s or higher degree in Accounting or Finance
2. Strong understanding of accounting
3. 3+ years accounting/finance experience
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (with focus on Excel)
5. Proficiency in English
6. ACCA is a plus

Descrierea jobului

The candidate will be responsible for general accounting and financial functioning of the organization, supporting the business / clients in accurate financial and accounting reporting and analysis. It will perform general accounting and reporting functions for local management and external reporting needs. Key tasks include:

1. Statutory accounting and management reporting
2. Accounting consultancy and reviews
3. Extra juridical accounting reports
4. Accounting Manuals Procedures drafting/update and review
5. Assist in documentation and monitoring internal controls, consultants timesheet review
6. Responsible for the preparation of accurate financial reports and supporting schedules
7. Providing and interpreting financial information for various stakeholders
8. Conducting reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities
9. Accounting ERP’s implementation and roll-out projects (Oracle, SAP, Navision).
