Senior Accountant with English

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance
• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting field
• Very good knowledge of Romanian Accounting Standards (IFRS experience is an advantage)
• Very good communication skills in English
• Ability to meet deadlines, reliable and consistent
• MS Office (strong Excel skills: VLOOKUP, PIVOT TABLE, MACRO)

• Check the accuracy and completeness of accounting records, while following quality control procedures
• Ensure the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions
• Be a back-up when it would be the case for posting payments and registration of documents (invoices, expense claims etc.)
• Performing month-end closing activities and reconciliations
• Prepare and records asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information
• Maintain and balance subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies
• Summarize financial status by collecting information and preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements
• Prepare tax calculation
• Monthly group reporting to the group
• Prepare half-year accounting reports and annual financial statements
• Provide assistance during tax audits or financial audits
• Prepare reports for local regulators upon request
