Our position of Sales Development Manager, based in Romania:

The Sales Development Manager promotes and sells the organization’s products and services within an assigned geographic area, product range, or list of customer accounts to achieve significant sales targets. Guided and trained by the Sales Manager where necessary.

Description of Tasks:

  • Pursuing sales leads by visiting existing and new customers
  • Assessing customer needs and suggesting appropriate products and services
  • Responding to customer enquiries
  • Negotiating prices and delivery times within limits of authority, and concluding sales orders to meet revenue targets.
  • Identifying, researching, and contacting prospective customers and build positive relationships that will generate future sales and repeat business.
  • Referring sales leads, customer feedback, and information on competitor activity to appropriate contacts within the organization so that they can respond to changing market conditions and customer demands.
  • Establishing annual, quarterly, monthly, or weekly sales plans and prioritize and schedule own activities so these targets are met.
  • Developing Chef to Chef relationships and engage in Chef Associations to build brand awareness and usage opportunities.
  • Leveraging Salesforce to track customer activities and manage opportunity pipelines.
  • Reporting to Gourmet Sales Manager for Romania and Bulgaria
