Key Responsibilities
Define, implement and monitor effective process of managing legal compliance and safety management system (OSHAS);
Translate/deploy the company`s Global & European safety standards into effective and practical local processes, procedures and practices;
Lead company`s Stand for Safety campaign on the local level (HPE, Stop.Think.Protect);
Support the journey of building and reaching the maturity level of safety culture, based on conducted safety culture assessments;
Develop, refresh when necessary and sustain an effective process of reporting safety proactive indicators (NM, SW, RC) and embed Safety Pyramid concept in management & supervisory level;
Assure effective process of reporting and investigating accidents and process incidents, support investigations and coach teams on good quality of RCA, perform effective reviews of actions follow up, including the one related to fatal accidents, LTA, PI, HPE NM;
Establish and support Leadership safety skills, coach them and assure they can be effectively leading safety in their respective areas of responsibility;
Conduct regular safety inspections/walk the talk an coach local leaders on that particular skills and behavior;
Analyze the needs for Safety Trainings, deliver safety training in key areas of safety competencies;
Follow up of GRC inspections (fire, boiler &machinery, infrared) and assure proper fire fighting and Atex compliance and effective management of identified areas of improvements;
Deploy Process Safety approach and follow on EPSA audits;
Define the process, support and follow up on Job Hazards Analysis;
Participate in Safety Cross Audits (SIPs), and follow up on identified areas of improvements of SIP conducted in the site;
Develop and assure effectiveness of contractors management system, including the auditing process;
Support/justify CAPEX projects for Safety;
Perform effective reviews of actions follow up, including the one related to fatal accidents, LTA, PI, HPE;
Develop and implement safety innovations and new safety Initiatives, which can strengthen local safety culture.
Your Profile
University degree from the related field of study or engineering;
Experience in OHSAS 18001 or (optional ISO 14001 will be a plus);
Experience in safety position in the production facility of international organization;
Knowledge about safety culture and modern safety,
Leadership skills and experience;
Able to lead by example and to show hands on approach;
Good command of both written and spoken English;
Opened to travel when required;
Problem solving skills, planning and organization as well as analytical thinking capability;
Ability to work in a team and string interpersonal skills;
Result oriented, ability to make decisions and influence others.
