What You Bring
• Successfully completed studies in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Business Administration
• Senior Buyer experience (especially for Civilworks/Installation-&Materials/Temporary Labour), preferably on Austrian Supply Market
• Deep knowledge in Contract Management for national Austrian civil contracts (incl. ABGB and ÖNORM)
• Project Procurement Management experience
• Fluently written and verbal German and English language skills
• Ability to travel regularly (up to bi-weekly) to Austria
• Expert level of Negotiation skills (in German and English language) especially in negotiations with Austrian suppliers

DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
A Snapshot of Your Day

• You’re working as Project Procurement Manager and Senior Buyer for a variety of high voltage sub station projects located in Austria.
• You’re responsible for the procurement activities of some 2-digit million worth projects
• Your cross-functional team is located in Austria and you’re willing to travel regularly as a majority of the supply chain for local scope like civil and installation is located in Austria.
• You like to speak German on a regular basis.

How You’ll Make an Impact
• You represent Procurement as a Sub-Project Manager in tender and project teams. Here you are responsible for project specific key figures as project budgets, procurement planning and controlling, meeting deadlines and assignment of qualified suppliers.
• You consider project specific requirements in offer and awarding processes in close cooperation with tender and project teams.
• For certain local (Austrian) commodities like installation and civil you act as Senior Buyer, being responsible for implementing negotiation concepts and strategies to maximize savings. Negotiate project and frame contracts with Austrian suppliers.
• Drive the application of optimum Procurement levers as e-Auction and ANC, GVS, Pooling, Design-to Cost for local Commodities
• Develop, document, and implement productivity measures to meet business and procurement targets.
• Forward systematically all relevant Procurement related project information (e.g., updated contractual conditions, Supplier Management data) to keep partner functions up to date
• Perform Supplier Management: Supplier selection, incl. documentation and communication of suppliers meeting Buy-from-the-best criteria, regular supplier and strategic evaluations, supplier qualification and supplier development to obtain and develop the best suppliers and to ensure an optimum supply chain.
