- Bachelor or Master degree in automotive engineering or mechanical engineering
- Several years of professional experience in vehicle construction
- Good knowledge of the commercial vehicle industry
- Ideally knowledge in the field of special design and customer order development
- Very good knowledge of 3D CAD, especially Siemens NX, Teamcenter, SAP and MS Office
- Entrepreneurial and solution-oriented thinking and acting
- Independent, result-oriented, quality-conscious and structured work
Descrierea jobului
- Development of simple components according to customer requirements, taking into account technical, economic and legal aspects
- Preparation of technical customer / order-related solutions in coordination with Component responsible team
- Close internal and external cooperation with the systems development and testing departments
- Technical support of the manufacturing departments and suppliers on site
- Technical support of the local purchasing department in the field of local sourcing
- Creation of E-BOM's (development parts list) and M-BOM's (work parts lists)
- Creation/support of process, system and design FMEA or risk assessments for the vehicles and components, taking into account customer requirements
- •Create and edit production orders
- •Initiation of tests on sample parts, incorporation of the results into the design
- •Coordination of new and modified designs throughout the entire design process with involved departments such as work preparation, production and testing as well as customers and suppliers in the context of R&D projects in the SES (Schmitz Engineering System) as responsible change manager
- Ensuring compliance with defined technical standards within the framework of design in accordance with PPM (Project and Portfolio Management) / SES
- Product maintenance and processing of requests for special equipment, as well as coordination with the relevant departments
