Candidatul Ideal
• Secondary/vocational school or university degree in business, supply chain, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement and supply chain, preferably in a lab or manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of procurement processes, contract terms, and negotiation techniques
• Experience in purchasing in the relevant industry is an advantage
• Advanced skills in internet research, data entry, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Experience with ERP systems and cloud-based sourcing is a plus
• Team-oriented and able to work independently; results-driven; positive attitude toward change; actively involved in public procurement processes
• Effective workload organization; ability to meet tight deadlines; efficient problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-changing corporate environment
• Ability to manage tasks across different global time zones as needed
• Experience with international procurement or supply chain management is an advantage
Descrierea jobului
• Selection of qualified suppliers (tender procedures), performance measurement and management
• Preparation, consolidation, recording, confirmation, and archiving of material and service orders for all ALS branches in Romania
• Handling of complaints and non-conformities with suppliers
• Supplier relationship management
• Market monitoring (price trends, material availability, innovations, risks, sustainability)
• Participation in the optimization of procurement processes and purchasing strategies according to instructions from ALS central procurement
• Collaboration with the regional procurement manager on European market research, negotiation of best prices, payment terms, and delivery deadlines
• Ensuring continuity of supply
• Inventory level management in warehouses
• Recording of obsolete inventory and initiation of write-offs
• Preparation of internal procurement guidelines
• Development of new materials and implementation of new supply sources
• Negotiation of commercial terms
• Creation and management of contracts
• Testing of new materials across all ALS laboratories in Romania
• Preparation of monthly savings reports and KPI performance tracking
• Collaboration with the procurement team in Prague
• Cooperation with internal departments (logistics, laboratories, quality, finance)
• Compliance with safety and corporate business ethics guidelines
• Support of other activities/initiatives as directed by senior management
• Execution of other duties as assigned
