Process Engineer - Glass Float Line – Hot End/Cold End

• Graduated from the Technical University with a technological profile (chemical engineer, metallurgist, material scenice);
• Ability to compile reports and technical presentations;
• Ability to learn new methods and programs of analysis and management of industrial processes;
• Knowledge of methods and tools for continuous improvement of processes (Kaizen, PDCA, Gemba walk);
• Communication skills, organization, and coordination of project teams;
• Ability to work in interdepartmental teams;
• Advantage - experience working in an industrial environment;
• Foreign language – english mandatory;

These roles are positions within the Technical and Industrial Performance Department at Saint-Gobain Romania.
Your responsibilities will include, among others:

• Analyzes hot-end/cold-end production parameters that influence glass quality, consumption of raw materials and energy, electricity consumption, nitrogen, hydrogen and other consumables;
• Connects the main types of defects that come from the composition and furnace workshops/ float workshops, annealing, cutting and stacking and the production parameters of these workshops;
• Updates the databases and graphs related to the evolution of quality on the float line and the production parameters of the hot end/cold end.
