  • Experience with applications installed on Linux and Windows servers
  • Experience with ITIL
  • Perform troubleshooting and analysis, including log file investigation
  • Ability to set up a technical solution and deploy it in environments
  • Would be considered a plus: PL/SQL, SOAP UI, XML, Shell Scripting, Perl
  • Problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated motivation to learn new skills and internal programs/systems
  • Fluent in French and English.

Project details:

  • Open manages the incidents raised in Jira by our automotive French client of 37 applications, grouped in 3 areas
  • The 37 applications are split between 10 PGA, each of it having to manage the incidents raised on 1 to 5 applications, depending on their complexity
  • The PGA will not be familiarized with 37 applications, but will be familiarized with the other applications from his working area in order to be backup when needed (eg: other PGA in holiday)
  • The incidents are raised in Jira by our customer’s service desk
  • After the analysis of the incident, log investigation, the incident should be further raised and explained to the development team (separate entity)
  • The PGA is the technical representing of our customer in front of the development team and infrastructure team
  • On call: Every 8 weeks the PGA will do on-call – the average number of the incidents raised on the on-call period is 3/year – the availability is not paid, but the intervention is paid for every hour worked
  • Service du matin: Every 8 weeks the PGA will start working at 8:30 from Monday to Friday in order to check the availability of the applications
  • Deployments – 1-3 times/month there are deployments on production out of working hours made by the development team where the PGA assists and coordinates the activities – the work is either paid either compensated with time off
  • FR working days which are free days in Romania: the team shall offer continuity – the work is either paid either compensated with time off, backup is done between the PGAs so that not all the team will have to work on those days (6 in total in 2021).
Responsibilities:
  • Administrating the incidents on different automotive applications
  • Reproducing and analyzing the incidents in order to give more details to the development teams (using logs, analysis in the data base – for some of the applications with SQL Development )
  • Prioritizing the incidents together with our customer and manage them accordingly with the development teams
  • Contacting the needed departments in order to achieve the incident’s but: its closing
  • Respect the project SLAs
  • Updating documents and procedures
  • Treating alerts by following the written procedures step by step
  • Provide status on the daily meetings with: the team leader, project manager, client project manager
  • Plan daily meeting with the development teams to ask for status, verify the fixing status
  • Sending meeting minutes
  • Sending the daily report at the end of the day
  • Work closely with the client, the project team leader, project manager and project director.
