Job Description

We are now looking to strengthen the **Luxembourg payroll team**, ensuring smooth operations, accurate delivery, and continuous alignment with local legislation and cross-border requirements. **As a Payroll Analyst for the Luxembourg market, you will act as a key point of consolidation and validation of payroll input, working closely with HRBPs, advisors, the payroll vendor, and finance.** Collect, consolidate, and validate payroll inputs from HRBPs and advisors (new hires, terminations, contractual changes, absences, medical leaves, benefits, pension schemes, union/CCM data); Perform plausibility checks to ensure correctness of documents, compliance with taxation rules, deductions, and legal requirements; Collaborate with BDO (payroll vendor) – transmit validated inputs, review results, confirm final payroll documents, and prepare for funding together with the Finance team; Ensure compliance with Luxembourg legislation and share updates with the vendor on any legislative changes; Manage payroll reporting and sign-off of statutory and final reports; Facilitate communication with employees, especially commuters (80% of the population are cross-border workers from Germany and France); Support on international assignment cases impacting payroll; Act as back-up for other country payroll (Netherlands, Spain) as needed; Collaborate with local Workers Council and respond to queries from authorities.
