Operations Supervisor – Aircraft Maintenance / Tuzla Hangar

The role is critical in optimizing hangar operations to maximize aircraft readiness and minimize downtime. We are looking for a proactive and well-organized Supervisor to coordinate operational activities, manage work teams, ensure deadlines are met, and continuously improve work processes, with a strong focus on efficiency and elimination of wasted time and other resources.

Responsibilities:
Organize and assign work teams to specific tasks and projects
Plan, monitor, and follow up daily hangar activities
Ensure deadlines and agreed schedules are respected
Coordinate priorities and balance workload between teams
Identify operational gaps and propose improvement solutions
Improve workflow efficiency and reduce non-productive time
Ensure compliance with internal procedures, manuals, aviation authorities and safety rules
Report work status and deviations to management
Engage with internal and external customers regarding aircrafts maintenance status

Founded in 1998, REGIONAL AIR SERVICES was among the first private operators in Romanian aviation. In 1999, the company took over the Tuzla General Aviation Base, becoming the first private airport in Romania and allowing its operational offering to be complemented by comprehensive airport services. The airport spans 36 hectares and features two grass runways, four heliports, a 1,200 m² hangar, two administrative buildings (A and B), and a new administrative building (C) dedicated to flight school and maritime survival training. The facility is equipped with a B 732 Series 300 simulator for crew ground training, a firefighting and self-rescue training simulator, an FNPT II flight school simulator, and a fuel depot with a capacity of 200,000 liters, with a new depot currently under construction. Additional facilities include ancillary buildings, a fire station, and parking areas.

REGIONAL AIR SERVICES is authorized to conduct passenger and cargo air transport, air ambulance operations, flight school training, maritime survival training, parachuting school activities including training, tandem and recreational jumps, parachutist and material drops, aerial advertising such as banner or flag towing, offshore operations, search and rescue missions, aerial photogrammetry, geodesy operations, agricultural and forestry operations, aerial surveillance, environmental protection activities, as well as other aerial services such as filming and photography.
