Candidatul Ideal
We are looking for a Logistics Assistant to join Merck Romania on a 2-year fixed-term contract, and support the logistics and supply chain operations within a regulated pharmaceutical distribution environment. In this role, you will coordinate product orders, work with internal logistics systems, and assist warehouse activities while ensuring compliance with company procedures and industry regulations.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (Chemistry or Biochemistry is considered an advantage).
- 1–2 years of experience in a similar logistics or distribution role.
- Experience in a pharmaceutical or life sciences warehouse/depot is an advantage.
- Advanced English language skills.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and experience with software or ERP systems.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Good communication and coordination abilities.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical distribution processes.
- Experience working with ERP or logistics management systems.

- Place and monitor purchase orders with suppliers (including companies within the Merck Group).
- Set up and maintain product data in internal IT systems (ERP, Optravis, MDG-M).
- Register received goods in the ERP system and maintain accurate stock information.
- Monitor inventory levels and safety/buffer stock.
- Support warehouse operations and product reception activities.
- Check and prepare documents related to orders and deliveries.
- Follow the preparation of deliveries and verify all required shipping documentation.
- Prepare reports and operational summaries related to logistics activities.
- Maintain communication with internal stakeholders and beneficiaries regarding order status.
- Support the maintenance of authorizations and regulatory reporting required for pharmaceutical distribution.
- Ensure compliance with internal procedures, quality standards, and company policies.
- Communicate operational issues in a timely manner and contribute to efficient problem solving.
