Logistic Specialist

In this position, our future colleague will operate as Logistic Specialist and optimize inventory management (space occupied, product availability, financial profitability) while meeting commitments and customer satisfaction as per ERP delivery requests (OTIF). To do this, the warehouse logistician is responsible for implementing warehouse processes and guidelines and making them enforced, interfacing with supply chain, manufacturing, purchasing and sales administration.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor Degree
• 2-5 years experience in a manufacturing environment/warehouse area;
• Technical abilities in production flows;
• Seek and identify productivity improvement possibilities;
• Experience with ERPs - Navision can be an advantage;
• Advanced user of Microsoft Office - advanced use of Excel is an advantage: sum, if, match, choose, index, vlookup, pivot tables etc.) is an advantage
• Knowledge of WMS platforms

Tasks and responsibilities include:

• Ensures the supply of materials and components for production;
• Processes data on purchases/supply in the company's database and receipts of goods;
• Ensure communication with the specialized departments of the group;
• Develops the policies, procedures and work tools necessary to manage the logistics/warehouse activity at the company level in order to reduce the cost
• Manage inventory control and reconcile with data storage, accountable for inventory accuracy
• Organization and supervision of the administrative management of pick-up and dispatch orders in NAV
• Avoid any delay or non-compliance with fixed conditions, otherwise report to customer service department
• Monitor incoming goods from production flow to avoid any delays from/to Wirquin branches
• Optimize logistics equipment maintenance to avoid their destruction, quality issues and team safety.
• Plan the maintenance of work equipment in the warehouse (forklifts, racks, docks, doors, etc.) and contact responsible persons or companies to solve it
• Ensure warehouse transfers, bin and locations transfers, WMS operations to keep stocks accuracy
