The Ideal Candidate
Key Responsibilities (What you will do)
1. Technical Support & Hardware Maintenance
Provide first-level IT and help desk support to staff; resolve hardware (keyboard, mouse, monitor) and software issues with urgency.
Install, configure, and maintain office equipment (laptops, peripherals) and software.
Maintenance: Perform scheduled device checks (bi-weekly), and clean/refurbish equipment returned by offboarding employees.
Monitor technical faults and solve them effectively to ensure minimal downtime.
2. Network & Account Administration
Ensure the correct functioning of internal networks (LAN/Wi-Fi) and internet connections.
User Management: Create and administer employee accounts (Active Directory, Google Admin), manage permissions, and reset monthly passwords/credentials according to security policy.
Manage access to internal/external services and renew subscriptions/licenses as needed.
3. Inventory & Procedures
Manage the IT equipment stock (laptops, routers, cables) and perform daily inventory checks.
Issue handover/takeover forms (procese verbale) for equipment given to employees.
Document technical processes (create simple guides/procedures) and participate in implementing IT security policies.
Collaborate with external vendors for maintenance, warranties, or IT purchases.
- Must be ready to start urgently.
- Experience: Minimum 1–2 years in a similar role (IT Support, Network Admin, IT Technician).
- Technical Skills:
- Solid knowledge of Windows OS and macOS (Linux is a plus).
- Proficiency in MS Office 365 and G Suite administration.
- Basic networking knowledge (LAN/Wi-Fi, VPN, DNS).
- Experience with Active Directory / Google Admin for account management.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, clear communication, and the ability to work without constant supervision (autonomy is key for the night shift).
