PuntoUP Professional Recruitment is hiring an IT Help Desk Specialist for an international partner operating in the advertising and direct response marketing industry, active across the US and European markets.

Candidate profile

Technical skills

• Minimum 2 years of experience in an IT Support or Help Desk role
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365
• Hands on experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy
• Solid troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and network related issues

Professional skills

• Good command of English, both written and spoken
• Strong communication skills with both technical and non technical users
• Analytical thinking and problem solving abilities
• Service oriented mindset and focus on delivering efficient user support

Nice to have

• Microsoft certifications such as MS 900, MD 102, or AZ 900
• Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation
• Basic knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices

Role purpose

The role focuses on providing technical support to internal users, resolving daily IT incidents, and ensuring that systems and workstations operate smoothly so teams can work efficiently.

Responsibilities

IT Support and System Administration
• Manage user accounts, groups, and permissions in Active Directory
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity issues across the organization
• Deploy, configure, and maintain Windows workstations and business applications
• Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential technical issues

Operational Support
• Provide technical assistance to internal users and clearly explain solutions to both technical and non technical colleagues
• Document incidents and maintain the internal knowledge base
• Participate in after hours support rotation when necessary

Collaboration and Continuous Improvement
• Support the onboarding process for new employees by configuring accounts, hardware, and software access
• Collaborate with other IT teams on system implementations, updates, and security initiatives
• Contribute to improving internal IT processes and support procedures
