Instrumentation Engineer

• Support for the design and technical development of the control and instrumentation project general specification / design criteria.
• Support for the development of control philosophies, I/O list, logic diagrams, instrument data sheets, cause and effect diagrams and PID reviews.
• Design and specify field instruments, control panels, marshalling cabinets, junction boxes etc. ensuring compliance with specific standards and contractual documents.
• Cable routing definition (layout and sections) based on electrical and control rooms layout and defined control philosophy, with reference to contractual documentation. Follow the integration of instrumentation and cable routing within 3D plant models and ensure the correct extraction of the related 2D layouts
• Design of specific installation typical/sketches, primary and secondary hook-ups and instrumentation bulks characteristics definition using Autocad, excel etc.
• Provide technical support and coordination in a multidisciplinary context with other technological functions for instrumentation including Procurement and Construction.
• Participate in the 3D Model reviews, internal or with final customer.
• Define and issue Purchase Requisitions (including QCP), Technical Bid evaluations up to Procurement Order for instruments, cables and bulk materials and ensure Vendor Follow Up Activities (including FAT) and consequent input to Plant Detail Engineering activities.
• Promote the use of different platforms (BIM360, EXOD, etc.) for collaborative design and document control.
