Candidatul Ideal
- Mandatory knowledge and experience with Linux (installation, partitioning, user management, configuring the network interfaces);
- Medium networking knowledge (OSI layers model, TCP/IP model, difference between TCP and UDP, basic information about VLANs);
- Medium knowledge about server hardware (CPUs, memory channels, RAID controllers and HBAs);
- Medium storage knowledge (RAID levels, Optional - SAN protocols (iSCSI, FC), NAS protocols);
- Basic knowledge about virtualization (VMware ESXi, Microsoft Hyper-V, KVM, Virtualbox);
- Familiarity with the command line (Linux, Windows, switches).
Descrierea jobului
- Configure, monitor and maintain operating system software plus third-party system tools, applications and products;
- Investigate, respond and solve support requests;
- Perform software upgrades and new software installation;
- Set up new users’ accounts, certificates and profiles and deal with password issues;
- Respond within agreed time limits to call-outs.
