Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics
• Strong fluency with Excel formulas and functions
• SAP knowledge (would be a plus)
• Strong analytical and data gathering skills
• Good business acumen

General tasks

• Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking
• Analyze financial data for decision support
• Report on financial performance and prepare for regular reviews
• Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements
• Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts
• Guide the cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures
• Provide analysis of trends and forecasts and recommend actions for optimization
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is mentioned in virtually any financial analyst job description; familiarity with data query/data management tools is extremely helpful (Access, SQL, Business Objects)

• G/A expenses (budget preparation and execution, explanations for variations)
• Create, evaluate or update internal policies/procedures aligned to company processes
• Cash flow (budget preparation and execution, explanations for variations); prepares weekly projections for cash flow
• Balance sheet (budget preparation and execution, explanations for variations)
• Capex (budget preparation and execution, explanations for variations)
• Monthly intercompany reconciliations, monthly ageing (PL /BS/CF)
• IFRS 16 (prepares monthly calculations and accounting records, projections, budget)
• Involved in monthly preparation of IFRS package in ron and euro (actuals, variation analysis)
• Accruals (monthly follow up)
