Your main task is the independent planning and implementation of supplier development projects in BBM purchasing using common planning methods. You are welcome to expand your spectrum with other lean tools and special tasks, such as the further development of a training module.

Responsibilities:
  • You identify potential for improvement, support the implementation and increase the competitiveness of our suppliers. You are also happy to bring experience from data-based improvement projects and Industry 4.0 solutions to your projects.
  • When it comes to value stream improvements and employee empowerment at BBM suppliers, you are the first choice. We are a team with different ages, experiences and interests and support each other. An open communication and feedback culture is important to us.
  • In your projects you are the contact person for the supplier and our internal customers on different hierarchical levels. Working in international teams at a distance and hopefully more on site soon is part of your everyday life. The project work enables you to continuously expand your network.



Qualifications
  • Education: Completed degree in engineering / industrial engineering (specializing in production, manufacturing, logistics or comparable)
  • Personality: You work independently, are goal-oriented and have gained experience in moderation and the management of workshops and projects.
  • Working method: You enjoy working with people and you are convincing. With your communication skills and skill you will overcome resistance in change projects.
  • Qualification: Lean methods such as 5S, TPM, QCO, Pull, System-CIP, etc. are part of your basics, for this position we are looking for special expertise in the application and implementation of the BPS planning guide (FOL, LLD, etc.).
  • Experience and know-how: You feel comfortable on the shop floor and speak the language of production in the automotive environment. You have gained your experience in the implementation of value stream kaizens, e.g. as a project manager in production or a group leader in operational logistics.
  • Enthusiasm: You are interested in cross-departmental cooperation with suppliers, purchasing, development and production and you stay on the ball even when there are setbacks.
  • Willingness to travel: Romania and neighboring Eastern European countries, approx.40-60% travel share.
  • Languages: You are fluent in spoken and written English, another European foreign language is an advantage.
  • Information technology: You are familiar with Office 365 and are not afraid to try new things. Experience in the field of digitization/data analysis is an advantage.
