WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR …

3-5 years of experience in a road freight role and experience as a freight forwarder, also experience in spot buying is a must
Native Romanian and good English is a must
Strong skills in rate negotiation
Proven experience managing time-critical operations and escalations
Solid understanding of transport KPIs and road transport market
Hands-on mindset – comfortable working in a fast-paced, execution-driven environment
Strong communication skills with both carriers and internal teams

As a Senior International Road Freight Forwarder you’ll work on interesting responsibilities like: managing the day-to-day operations activities while supervising our daily transport in Europe, supporting our Capacity teams by focusing on urgent loads not covered through our automated booking channels. In this role you will:

Coordinate loads and negotiate spot rates with carriers based on market conditions
Own the end-to-end disposition of spot transports, making sure loads are covered on time and executed properly
Act as the main point of contact for the stakeholders in daily operations
Work closely with carriers and internal departments to manage execution and ensure agreed service levels
Monitor transport performance daily, focusing on on-time pickup/delivery, transit times, and exceptions
Handle and resolve issues in real time (delays, no-shows, incidents), make sure all critical orders have the capacity required
Identify root causes of failures (late trucks, missed slots, etc.) and drive corrective actions
Build and maintain a reliable carrier network for day-to-day operations, run new carrier sourcing
Keep full ownership of operational KPIs and service quality
Partner with Account Managers to deliver consistent service on their customer portfolio
