Descrierea jobului
Purpose of the position: Ensure time and quality in the delivery of goods and documents as per Purchase Order and ensure the suitability, thus preventing extra costs, delays or other disruptions in the execution of projects/operations.
You will ensure:
- Reviewing the Purchase Order and all contractual documentation to detect discrepancies and prevent any misunderstanding that could potentially cause delays;
- Contacting the Vendor to verify correct receipt and interpretation of the Purchase Order, and expediting the issuance of the order acknowledgment;
- Ensuring that the vendor’s supply schedule covers all phases of the supply cycle (engineering, procurement, construction, inspection, preparation for shipment and transport) and complies with contractual delivery terms and dates;
- Facilitating the interface between Vendors and Saipem Functions involved in supply chain activities;
- Providing reliable and up‑to‑date information on supply progress status according to delivery criticality;
- Applying a supply chain management approach to promptly identify and manage any potential cause of delay and mitigating delays already detected;
- Ensuring the timely availability of suitable shipping documentation to enable shipment and transportation of purchased materials;
- Guaranteeing exhaustive and punctual SAP updating

Transportation: Company‑provided transport on the Ploiesti – Aricestii Rahtivani route
