Director Projects

As the Director Projects, you will have the overall responsibility for the successful execution of the Systems and Software Center ︁︀​︈︈​︈︈​︁︈︂of Excellence scope of work on European Projects. You will be directly responsible for the Projects Group, Process Systems and Solutions, Power & Renewables Engineering Groups, and Procurement. Other responsibilities will be the delivery of execution on time, within budget, meeting quality metrics, and internal and external customer satisfaction targets. The role will ensure the efficient delivery and the use of the company PMO standards for project execution. In addition, the position provides the department's strategic direction and financial forecasting.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
* To handle and deliver multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they meet all scope, cost, schedule, and quality objectives.
* To cultivate a collaborative environment across departments to optimize project outcomes through resource allocation and strategic planning.
* To maintain clear and consistent communication with internal and external partners, facilitating timely responses and actions.
* To take on sophisticated business issues related to project delivery while identifying and implementing process improvements.
* To handle project budgets and ensure adherence to annual financial plans.
* To actively contribute to crafting and implementing the Business Unit Project Operational strategy within Systems and Software.
* To lead initiatives passionate about continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
* To manage, coach, and develop team members, encouraging a supportive and collaborative environment.

For This Role, You Will Need:
* Engineering degree or equivalent knowledge.
* 10+ years of automation industry experience with a proven record in leading multiple and sophisticated customer projects simultaneously in multiple countries.
* Proficient in Romanian and English (written and spoken).

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
* PMP certification and further education in business administration, operations, or project management are considered advantageous.
* Experience with direct customer contact preferred.
* A third European language is considered nice to have.
