Director Finance & Administration Hungary and Romania m/f/d

• A master's degree in finance, accounting, or business administration
• Professional certifications (CPA, ACCA, or CMA) are highly valued
• 8+ years’ experience in finance & accounting roles, incl. managerial or leadership positions
• Proficiency in SAP FI & CO modules, COGNOS, and Power BI is essential
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting, reporting, budgeting, and business planning processes
• Familiarity with tax and statutory reporting requirements in Hungary & Romania
• Understanding of business and financial risk management principles and practices
• Strong business partnering and stakeholder management skills
• Exceptional leadership abilities with the capacity to inspire and motivate a team
• Fluent in English, and one of the local languages (Hungarian and/or Romanian)
• Openness to a hybrid working model (office, work from home, travelling to HU)

• Ensure effective communication, alignment of goals, and performance management in your team. Motivate and develop your team members, enabling them to achieve their full potential
• Engage in effective business partnering with various stakeholders. Provide financial insights and support to drive sound decision-making and achieve business objectives
• Prepare financial statements in compliance with group guidelines. Oversee financial accounting activities, such as GL & Asset Accounting, P2P, O2C, Payroll Processing, Expense Mgmt, and Cash & Treasury Mgmt
• Ensure compliance with tax & statutory reporting, adhering to the relevant regulations in HU and RO
• Actively contribute to business and financial planning and budgeting processes. Enhance data-driven decision-making capabilities
• Establish and enforce effective controls, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Lead and support change initiatives, such as business process improvements, digitalization, and system implementations
• As the Managing Director, ensure compliance with legal requirements, corporate governance standards, and applicable laws and regulations
