The Content Editor is responsible for post-editing and translating the English content articles into Spanish. Will maintain a close relationship with the travel Platform Content Manager in terms of articles to be edited/translated and will work to improve the translation machine.The Content Editor will take contributions or suggestions from Spanish customers or colleagues, interpret them and edit answers accordingly.
Post-editing /translation of existing English articles into Spanish.
Monitor answer settings (inappropriate settings, access levels, review status, inappropriate product values, etc).
Select answers for translation – review English articles and identify e.g. key answers, popular answers, product launch, or related answers for translation.
Analyze the translation made by the auto-translation machine and suggest its improvement.
Participating as a team member to achieve established objectives (assuring quality, procedures and related work instructions).
Take contributions or suggestions from Spanish customers, stakeholders and helpdesk colleagues, interpret them and edit answers accordingly.
Strong Spanish and English skills, both spoken and written.
Minimum 1 year working experience in a similar role.
Basic technical skills.
Ability to rephrase the content with the view to make it easily understandable and user friendly and in the same time without changing the meaning of the content.
Planning and organizing; Attention to details; Analysis; Flexibility, Multitasking.
Previous exposure to travel industry is considered a big plus.
Very good communication skills.
Able to work independently, but also as part of a team.
Able to work with tight deadlines.
