Air / Sea Freight Operations Specialist

• Good knowledge of AIR or SEA transports (of domestic and international carriers, legal processes and procedures)
• 3-5 years experience in a maritime / air transport role;
• Customer and service oriented;
• Good knowledge of English;
• Cargowise is a plus;

• Negotiating fares through different ports / airports with good efficiency.
• Daily transport management: issuing/verifying documentation, bookings to GSAs/ship lines and communication with origin/destination agencies;
• Processing and processing of reservations for all parties involved (agents, GSA/ship lines, customs broker, carriers, etc.);
• Analyzing requests from the sales department and external agencies and offering appropriate solutions;
• Calculation of rates for bidding;
• Updating operational information in the company's systems (Cargowise + internal reports)
• Maintaining good relations with Customers/Agents/Lines/Carriers (sending, monitoring and finalizing orders);
• Monitoring the shipments to the destination and informing the parties involved in case of any irregularities. (booking, tracking, status, etc.)
• Accurate and timely verification, invoicing and closing of all managed files, to ensure the achievement of operational KPIs.
