Qualifications & skills
Experience in Air Freight Forwarding – minimum 1 year.

Ability to react and perform well under tight deadlines.

Good understanding of Air Import and Export processes and documentation.

Good understanding of the local air freight market and operational environment.

Fluency in written and spoken English.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Good communication and customer service skills.

Good computer skills; experience with freight forwarding systems (TMS) is an advantage.

IATA DGR knowledge / certification is considered an advantage.

Job Summary
This position is responsible for quoting customers and agents in a timely and accurate manner, for communicating and establishing excellent relationships with air carriers, agents, and colleagues to ensure the best possible and most competitive rates whilst providing operational excellence, high productivity, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
Manage Air Import/Export Freight shipments from booking to final delivery, including quotations, bookings, documentation, data entry, shipment track and trace, billing, arranging deliveries and file closure.

Coordinate daily with airlines, agents, truckers, customers, customs brokers, sales & business support representatives, and overseas offices to ensure smooth and timely shipment execution.

Proactively monitor shipments, identify potential delays or operational issues and take the necessary action to ensure timely resolution and keep customers informed.

Prepare quotations and follow up with customers, ensuring fast professional responses to requests.

Issue bills /invoices to customers and agents; organize documentation, properly keep all records updated and ensure that there are no losses on files report.

Ensure compliance with applicable customs, IATA and Transport RO regulations and internal operational requirements.

Advise clients concerning terms of delivery & payment, Air insurance & services, transport alternatives, etc.

Ensure all documentation, such as invoices, AWB and other related documents for outbound /inbound shipments is completed accurately and forwarded to the appropriate party.

Working Conditions
Office-based role with frequent communication with partners, Air OPS team and customers.
May require flexibility to support urgent or time-critical shipments outside standard working hours.
