Business Development
Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities across key industries and market segments.
Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline using CRM tools.
Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and commercial offers.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements with clients.
Client Relationship Management
Build long-term relationships with key customers and strategic partners.
Act as the primary point of contact for major accounts.
Conduct regular business reviews to identify opportunities for growth.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
Market Analysis
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
Identify emerging opportunities in transportation, logistics, and supply chain sectors.
Recommend new services and market expansion initiatives.
Strategic Partnerships
Develop partnerships with freight forwarders, logistics providers, government agencies, and corporate clients.
Represent the company at industry conferences, exhibitions, and networking events.
Collaborate with marketing on lead generation campaigns.
Financial & Commercial Management
Achieve annual sales and profitability targets.
Prepare sales forecasts and business development reports.
Monitor margins and ensure commercial sustainability.
Support pricing strategies and tender submissions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Operations to ensure seamless service delivery.
Coordinate with Finance on contract terms, invoicing, and payment issues.
Partner with Customer Service to resolve client concerns promptly.
Leadership
Mentor and support junior business development team members.
Promote a high-performance sales culture.
Share market intelligence and best practices across the organization.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Marketing, or a related field.

Experience
7–10+ years of business development or sales experience within the transport, logistics, freight, or supply chain industry.
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Experience managing large corporate accounts and contract negotiations.
Experience responding to RFPs, RFQs, and tenders.
