What We Are Looking For

Professional Experience
  • 1–3 years of experience in Group financial reporting (actuals reporting to Group)
  • 1–3 years of experience in financial accounting
  • Prior exposure to IFRS reporting environments
  • Audit background (external or internal) is considered a strong advantage

Technical Skills & Knowledge
  • Good understanding of IFRS standards, especially:
    • IFRS 16 (Leases)
    • IFRS 15 (Revenue) – advantage
    • IAS 1 (Financial Statements Presentation)
  • Experience with Group reporting systems and structured reporting processes
  • Strong Excel skills; experience with ERP systems is a plus
Personal & Professional Competencies
  • High attention to detail and strong sense of accuracy
  • Structured, disciplined, and deadline-oriented working style
  • Ability to manage recurring reporting tasks in a high-volume environment
  • Strong analytical skills and willingness to understand figures beyond reporting
  • Good communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken

Role Overview

As a Group Reporting Controller, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting at Group level.
You will be directly involved in monthly Group P&L and Balance Sheet reporting, intercompany reconciliations, IFRS 16 calculations, and system-based submissions.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong accounting foundation, first-hand exposure to Group reporting processes, and a solid understanding of IFRS, who is ready to grow in a structured, international finance environment.

Role Mission

To deliver high-quality Group financial reporting by ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance across entities, while supporting Group deadlines and maintaining strong control over reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities

Group Reporting & Closing

  • Prepare and submit monthly Group B&S and P&L reporting in the Group reporting system (approx. 150 monthly reporting tasks)
  • Perform Balance Sheet reconciliations and ensure timely submission to Group
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities in line with Group timelines and financial audit requirements

Intercompany & Reconciliations

  • Perform intercompany reconciliations, investigate differences, and ensure proper submission to Group
  • Collaborate with local finance teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure data consistency

IFRS & Technical Reporting

  • Prepare and maintain IFRS 16 lease calculations and reporting packs
  • Apply IFRS principles consistently across reporting cycles
  • Support compliance with Group accounting policies and IFRS requirements

Data Quality & Controls

  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data submitted to Group
  • Perform analytical reviews on reported figures and explain variances
  • Maintain proper documentation and audit trails for reported data

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

  • Work closely with local accounting teams and Group Finance
  • Support audits and respond to Group or external audit queries
  • Contribute to process improvements and standardization initiatives in Group reporting
