- Project controls experience as a Cost Controller;
- Understanding of the Offshore/Onshore Oil and Gas industry – will be considered a plus;
- Experience of delivering Cost Control methodologies to various types and sizes of projects;
- Strong communication and people skills;
- Experience in working with data bases like SAP;
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Access, PowerPoint & word;
- English knowledge - mandatory medium level; advanced level will be considered a plus.

Job Overview
- ensures an accurate, timely and value-added analysis and reporting on a project. The discipline contributes to the effective running of projects and comprises responsibility for, but not limited to cost performance status reporting.
Generic Key Responsibilities & Activities:
- Ensure analysis and understanding of the Project Contract and Scope;
- In liaison with the Tender Team (relevant estimator and project team members) recast and analyze the Commercial budget and cash plan (in/out). Transfer the Commercial Budget to Cost Control Report to form the basis of future monitoring and control activities;
- Prepare and establish the Cost Breakdown Structure, and Budget Elements which describe the full structure to be used in the Cost Control System;
- Produce short and long term cash flow projections in a continuous and timely manner;
- Establish and communicate processes and routines required for effective control and reporting during the project lifecycle to team members;
- Ensure the use of standard, appropriate templates for internal performance and customer reporting;
- Maintain constant awareness of progress of work by pro-actively collecting the necessary supporting material (planning and reports) and information from all reliable sources;
- Compute Actual / Committed Project cost;
- Ensure the timely coding, collection, analysis and reporting of all project expenditure, together with the budget holder(s);
- Conduct reconciliation of forecasted and actual cost and the preparation of the project accruals;
- Produce audit reports and other audit information as required by internal & external audit teams;
- Prepare experience feedback figures (Close Out Documentation) to the Project Controls, relevant functions and Tendering departments;
- Ensure proactive methods in sharing knowledge and experience, raising areas of difficulty and concern and assisting in improving routines;
- Participate on estimate of Variations Orders, prepare supporting data and documentation and implement validated VO budgets into the cost control system;
- Ensure in-depth analysis and reporting of variances on a periodic basis as well as calculate on a monthly basis the Estimate To Complete (ETC) project cost/revenue;
- Ensure all costs are allocated to the right destinations (departments, contracting entities);
- Support Risk Management process.
