Civil Structural Design Engineer

Job Purpose: Develop design solutions for reinforced concrete, steel structures, and foundations across all project phases, in compliance with applicable technical regulations, ensuring the quality, safety, and functionality of constructions within energy infrastructure projects.


Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related technical field;
4–7 years of experience in civil structural design;
Strong knowledge of civil construction regulations and standards;
Solid understanding of construction materials, design methodologies, and technical requirements;
Good command of English (at least intermediate level);
Category B driving license.On-site, office location: Barbu Vacarescu

Responsibilities:

Design of reinforced concrete structures and foundations (technical solution selection, calculation reports, execution drawings);
Design of steel structures for technical equipment and unpaved service roads;
Development and calculation of structural and other technical solutions in compliance with applicable standards and regulations;
Preparation of documentation for all project phases (DTAC, PT, DDE);
Preparation of technical plans and documents for obtaining permits and approvals required;
Collaboration in developing site studies (topographical, geotechnical, etc.);
Preparation of technical projects, cost estimates, execution details: technical reports, technical drawings, calculation reports, and quantity lists;
Defining the structural or geotechnical systems for each construction element;
Determining load requirements for structures;
Structural/geotechnical modeling and analysis using specialized software (AutoCAD, Nemetschek, SAP2000, ConSteel, ETABS);
Performing static and dynamic calculations;
