Key Responsibilities
- Manage inventory accuracy based on inbound and outbound documentation.
- Ensure proper stock movements and maintain accurate records of all inventory transactions in SAP, including receiving and shipping documentation.
- Oversee the storage and handling of goods in compliance with safety requirements and FIFO (First In, First Out) principles.
- Identify and report any discrepancies or deviations in receiving and shipping processes.
- Ensure the efficient logistical organization of the warehouse and implement corrective and preventive actions to resolve operational issues (e.g., negative stock analysis, stock shortages, workload balancing between receiving, shipping, and WIP areas).
- Coordinate product shipments according to logistics requirements, customer orders, and business priorities.
- Manage inbound deliveries and receiving activities based on logistics planning.
- Review and validate receiving and shipping documentation before submission to the Accounting Department.
- Coordinate and manage logistics flows with external warehouse providers (TDT).
- Monitor and control packaging material inventories, initiating replenishment based on predefined stock thresholds.
- Perform monthly inventory reconciliation for externally stored goods in accordance with contractual agreements.
- Organize and coordinate inventory counts, including cycle counts and annual inventories, and analyze inventory discrepancies.
- Conduct risk assessments related to inventory management, materials, and suppliers.
- Implement initiatives to improve warehouse efficiency, material flow, and warehouse layout optimization.
- Lead, plan, coordinate, and supervise warehouse staff activities, ensuring performance, productivity, and compliance with company standards.
- Support employee onboarding, training, and development within the warehouse team.
- Participate in and support the performance evaluation process for warehouse personnel.
- Ensure compliance with internal inventory management procedures and operational standards.
- Collaborate in environmental management and waste management activities.
- Organize and maintain external storage areas, including yards and packaging storage facilities.
- Ensure the proper operation and maintenance of material handling equipment.
- Support the resolution of logistics claims and disputes with customers and suppliers, including delivery and invoicing discrepancies.
- Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts (ISCIR certification required).
- Prepare and deliver weekly and monthly operational reports.
- Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and projects within the Logistics Department and across the manufacturing plant.
