Candidatul Ideal
The Transportation & Logistic Lead will coordinate a team that will perform activities that ensure efficient transportation of materials and products from origin to destination. In this role, you will use your organizational and interpersonal skills to guide staff that identifies and selects the most appropriate and cost effective transportation.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of four years of related work experience: bulk logistics, truck and rail logistic
- MS Office Suite – good command
- Fluent in Romanian language and advanced level of English
- Four years of supervisory experience
- Transport Management System experience, SAP Knowledge
- Intermediate knowledge of transportation & logistic market and carriers
- Experience in agribusiness is a plus
- Good understanding of supply chain processes
- Good understanding of business functions, focused on cost and budget controls
- Systemic approach to problem solving and decision making
- Ability to set priorities and organize work
Descrierea jobului
- Coordinate a team of Sourcing and Operations in Transportation across multiple Cargill businesses
- Responsible for the administration and execution of policies, processes and procedures that affect local business and cross-functional departments
- Oversee the analysis of current transportation operations practices to resolve process and cost improvement opportunities
- Lead Continuous Improvement projects and participate in cross function and cross-country projects
- Change Management activities: implement and introduce new tooling to improve efficiency of processes
- Lead and develop a team, coach and make decisions related to talent management, hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions.
- Take part in industry related events regarding transportation & logistic topics
- Participate in strategy creation and deployment for the Blue Danube region
- Other duties as assigned
